Actually, halos in the lore of Einshem are the light from which angels absorb their powers (healing, flight etc). They don't have halos circling their heads... Though I like your idea, so maybe we can make this work by her being a healer of a sort, crafting halo-like ornaments as a form or alternative medicine. Making circular, light-weight and golden jewelry with healing properties sounds like an awesome yet tiring job.
